Blackboard™ is a course management system used campus-wide at NIU. The system allows faculty to post materials, deliver tests and surveys, hold online discussion and many other course-related functions. All currently-enrolled students and teaching faculty have access to the Blackboard system.
As you look to get started using Blackboard, review the various resources available throughout this site and consider attending an upcoming face-to-face Blackboard workshop for NIU faculty & staff. Details concerning upcoming Blackboard workshops are available here.
In addition, you may find the Teaching with Blackboard Podcast and NIUOnline Listserv to be very helpful as you seek to connect with other NIU faculty & staff who are using Blackboard to enhance the learning experiences of their students.
